EAF applied Magnesia carbon brick are made through a process of high-pressure molding and low-temperature treatment, using fused magnesia, high-purity magnesia sand and graphite as raw material. It is mainly used for EAF working layer, and enjoys various advantages including high temperature resistance strength, corrosion and spalling resistance. Depending on the steel grade and smelting condition, different types of magnesia carbon bricks are adopted.

Advantages: It has excellent high temperature resistance, corrosion and spallingresistance, and good thermal shock characteristic as well. It also possesses good oxidation resistance due to the adoption of high purity flake graphite.

Application: Apart from EAF, It can be widely used for ladle furnace,converter, hotspots and cold spots, etc.
